Exhibition 4 (Four) from May 25 until June 5, 2021, at the Gallery Kranjcar, is the final segment of Project 4 (Four). Four large original pieces are the final result of each of the four-day performance and as such remain permanent physical objects and traces of the process.

Exhibition 4 (Four) is the final segment of Project 4 (Four). The first segment was a cycle of four live painting and live music performances, realized from 19 to 22 May, at the Kranjčar Gallery. All performances were streamed live on the Internet, which enabled the dislocated audience to directly follow the process of creating a metamorphic piece. Each evening, two images were painted on the open-book base. Following a moment of contemplation, book pages were turned, covering the images, only to reveal at the same time one or two images painted beforehand. The process of image creation, as well as its covering, metamorphosis, disappearance and discovery of new images formed the performance’s narrative thread. The title finds its source in the four seasons, the four changes that mark the cycle of the year or the cycle of life, a fragment of time, a closed circle.

The eight-print series on the gallery wall are photographs of all the painting stages. They include those no longer visible as they are hidden bellow the turned book pages, as well as the ones that ultimately remain visible.
The video projected as part of the exhibition is a documentary summary of each evening, an abbreviated presentation showing the process of image and music creation.
The music is composed as well as improvised, following and emphasizing the narrative line. By directly building the dramaturgy as the piece emergences, the images and music together create an experimental narrative form. The performance was based on a direct exchange of musical and painting elements - combining the rhythm and time of music with the volume and space of the painting.
The author of the project concept and paintings is Danijel Žeželj. The authors and performers of the music are Alen Sinkauz and Nenad Sinkauz. The guest musician was Alfonso Santimone.
